The Bollin Valley Project extended to the Peak Park boundary and to run for at least another three years.

A management plan for Sunbank Wood is published.

Abbey Road Tree Planting Proposed
Initial plans for tree planting and a trim trail eventually led to Bollin Greenway which later became incorporated into Macclesfield Riverside park.

The Bollin Valley Project extended to the Manchester Ship Canal.

First Longhorn Cattle at Macclesfield Riverside Park
The Bollin Valley Project bought its first Longhorn Cattle for conservation grazing and as educational attraction.

The Visitor Centre at Macclesfield Riverside Park was officially opened by Cllr Sue Hardern
